Recruiting
Thanks
for stopping by to consider the Legion for your new home on Nordrassil.
If you are like me I am sure you have been involved in a
number
of guilds on various servers within World of Warcraft. The
Legion
has been the first place that I have felt like I belonged in a long
time. They are a completely different guild.
If you
are tired of guildmates calling each other names during raids or
degrading each other, if you are tired of guild mates having no respect
for each other, if you are tired of being taken advantage of by guild
leadership or other guild members then this may be the place for you
What
can you expect from the Legion of Honor and its membership?
1. You can expect to be assigned a mentor team to help you get
acclimated to the guild
2. You can expect to be called upon to help your guildmates and guild
3. You can expect to be included in all events
4. You can expect to be treated in a respectful manner
5. You can expect to be a part of a strong guild family
What
does the Legion of Honor expect from you?
1. We expect you to want to be the best you can be in your class
2. We expect you to help guildmates ascertain gear in order to
progress.
3. We expect you be respectful to your guildmates and party members if
in a pug
4. We expect you to interact with others on the realm with honor.
If
you are selected to be a member of the Legion, what happens next?
You
will be assigned a mentor team who will evaluate your gear and take you
on some runs to look at your play style. We do not
tell
people how to play their character since there is countless ways that
you can play and countless ways to gear your toon. What we
will
do is advise you if your DPS, Heals or Threat level is adequate and
what you can do to possibly improve.
What
will happen when I complete an application?
One
the of the recruitment members of the Legion will contact you and try
to schedule with you a couple runs. The first will be a
random
instance based on your level, gear and class. This run will
be
evaluation of how prepared you are when you come to runs, how well you
can follow directions, and how well you interact with other guild
members. Do not expect this instance to go smoothly.
We
will intentionally through curves to see how you adapt . We
may
intentionally wipe - just be prepared for anything.
What
does Honor and Respect mean?
We
look at honor and respect as doing the right thing while you game.
How you interact in the game reflects on your guild and we
hold
ourselves to a HIGHER standard. For example if you see
someone
killing a mob next to a node of some kind, do not go in and steal the
node while the player is in combat. Do not talk trash to
anyone.
Do not use foul or vulgar language. Be mature in
your
interaction with others. What you say between you and your
friends in whispers is between you two.
Is
there a probation period?
Yes,
you will be on probation for a period of at least 3 weeks, during which
time you will not be able to sign up for raids or particiapte in any
raid looting. You may be asked to accompany the guild on a
raid
run just to see how you interact and such. At the end of your
3
weeks, you will be advised one of the following.
1. You are promoted to recruit and can participate with all guild
activities.
2.
Your probation is extended for another x number of week(s).
This
is usually reserved for people that are not on very often or we have
had problems evaluating.
3. You are removed from the guild.
This is reserved for people that just are not a good fit for
the
guild. We do hold ourselves to a higher standard of conduct
make
sure you are willing to committ to that before applying.
